As a coach, the number one thing I help my clients with is finding greater happiness. At the root of what we all want is to be happy. All of the goals we have, ambitions we envision, plans we create are because we think those things and experiences will make us happy. If you think about it, every thing we do is because we are bobbing and weaving through life, trying to find our footing along our path toward what we think will make us happy.
ATTENTION MEN & BOYS...and anyone who is a mother, sister, wife, friend or partner of a man. WE MUST URGENTLY RETHINK MASCULINITY.

As a newlywed, my husband and I moved in together recently and what once was 'my' space, now became 'our' space. As much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE my husband, I believe that as women, there is just something SO incredibly sacred about having our own space.
Getting back on any routine can be tough! Life has ups and downs, curves, windy roads, peaks and valleys, new adventures and shifts...however, when we pause and reflect on the times we feel our very best, there are certain contributing factors that those moments have in common.
When I first moved to Minnesota, I can honestly say I fell in to a deep depression. I'm typically a pretty happy person, but this move took me to a dark place. All I wanted to do was go to work, come home and sit on the couch or sleep.
Does the world seem different to you than it did 5 years ago? The energy seems different to me. We are living in chaotic times. Even the evening news can stress us out, not to mention work and daily living.
I'm a STRONG woman - this I know, without a doubt; however, what I came to realize this week is that my strength is fueled by anger and cutting people out of my life and resentment and feeling let down (negative energy) rather than by "peaceful acceptance" (positive energy). For heaven’s sake my life motto has been “Damaged people are dangerous because they know they can survive”. I thought I was so bad ass! Ha!
This week's blog offers a lesson on tuning in to self to identify those people, things or events in your life that make you happy, challenge you to grow, lift you up, elevate you and make you better,(so you can invite more of this energy!) while also distinguishing that which no longer serves your ultimate and highest good (so you can release this energy).
At times we've all felt stuck, confused or unsure of what to do in a particular situation. You're at a crossroads and need to make a decision, but you're paralyzed and just can't quite take the leap to make a final decision. You don’t know who to trust or what is the ‘right’ move.
A hummingbird flies by soooo quickly that if you're not paying attention to that present moment, you could totally miss seeing the little guy...also missing the joy that the moment could bring. Such is life...
From the time I was very young, I connected with my mother's spiritual and metaphysical beliefs. I was always intersted in learning more about the world, the Universe, the unknown, my God, my spirituality and the possibilities that existed just beyond the surface of the world as we knew it.
I've known for years that I was meant to help others to be their best selves. I let fear dominate me for a while, and lived in the shadows, unsure of where to start this journey or how to help people. I was afraid that I was too imperfect in my own life to help others. Now I realize, that was living small - that was a lack of trust in who I was spiritually.
